One of the main purposes of PSMS is to educate our members and the Puget Sound community about the field of mycology. This is accomplished through membership meetings which often feature noted experts in mycology or forest science, providing beginning and intermediate identification classes, hosting field trips, conducting an annual foray, putting on our Fall Wild Mushroom Exhibit and producing this website.
